KAR Dry Port singing in TransMea

Yesterday witnessed the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development, management, and operation of the Kom Abo Rady Dry Port in Beni Suef.

The agreement brings together Industrial Development Group (IDG), Star Shine as the logistics partner, and the General Authority for Dry Ports and Land Transport, under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Transport. This strategic collaboration marks an important step toward strengthening logistics capabilities and supporting the development of integrated transport infrastructure in Egypt.

The MoU was signed during TRANSMEA 2023, the leading international exhibition and conference for transport, infrastructure, and logistics in the Middle East and Africa.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing smart transport solutions, enhancing connectivity, and contributing to Egypt’s economic growth and logistics development agenda.
